Fountains of Bellagio

ISSUE #311

After a long flight and 3 hours of time change, I am once again out at my annual week in Las Vegas for my day job. Forgive me, I’m too sleepy to write much more than facts. My morning’s too early to linger too long. There is little of Thompson’s fear or loathing in me tonight, only Ken Burns’ Thomas Jefferson on the Caesar’s Palace television.

The fountains at the Bellagio Casino are made up of spouts that dance to certain songs at each quarter of the hour (for those who didn’t already know). They were famously featured in the greatest ending to any American movie, for Ocean’s Eleven. Over my four summers here, I have spent many 101º nights watching them, compiling a list of all the songs they play.

Here are the best. Sleep well, my loves.
